Shurato | 230R 9 (1989)

ShuratoOf all the magical armour donning heroes of the 80s, Shurato was my favourite.
I liked it way above Saint Seiya and Yoroiden Samurai Troopers (all whose LP records would eventually be reviewed here).

Om Shura Sowaka!

This King Record release did well in bringing back memories of Shurato and Gai’s legendary rivalry.
Every Sunday morning I would wake up to see their duels and trying to catch the ending song stuck in my head even today.
Heavenly wars indeed.

This album was titled 転生眩奏 and brought with it, twelve enjoyable vocal and instrumental tracks.
The ending song was placed as the last track of side-2 quite fittingly.
The LP record packaging itself was normal -almost minimal-, with just one piece of lyrics sheet inside.

Will you be asleep before side-1 ends? No, but I liked side-2 better.
